Analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregate usage metrics for this website only (when hosted on Vercel). Local Storage Only: All your documents and preferences are stored locally on your device using macOS UserDefaults and the local file system.
In-App Purchases: If you purchase Textio Pro, the transaction is handled securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment information.

Since Textio does not collect any personal data, there is no information to use, share, or process. Everything happens locally on your device.

We do not sell, trade, or share any personal information with third parties because we don't collect any personal information in the first place.

We never access, view, or transmit your documents
Your writing is completely private and belongs to you

5. In-App Purchases

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, the security of your documents depends on your Mac's security settings. We recommend:

Keeping your macOS up to date
Using FileVault for disk encryption

Textio does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any data at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.
